Summer Course offered by University of Delaware — Modern Machine Learning

Machine learning is the basis of data mining. This course is aimed at providing some of the underpinning for the algorithms that are used in data mining; a balance between the theoretical and practical. Practical examples will be used to demonstrate the utility of the methods described. The techniques learned in this course are applicable to anyone trying to extract models from data that can be used for prediction or classification.
